Level the playing field

Too often talented science & technology professionals struggle in leadership and management roles. The reason is often the result of a single false assumption:

Technical strengths will translate to competence in generalist skills like effective communication, cross-functional influencing and program management and business strategy and planning.

When technical people join management and leadership, they have to compete for influence with professional generalists (MBAs, management consultants etc.) and all too often they come off second best, leading to frustration, stress, derailed careers and even termination.

My goal is to help STEM professionals level the playing field by learning how to be better generalists.

Learning to be a better communicator, strategist, meeting and project manager gives you the confidence that will fuel your success and growth and unlocks your time.

This website is dedicated to sharing generalist best practices, because when the how is obvious you can spend all your energy on the what.
